1 When you and Tommy first met working as welders from what I understand how did the idea of working together in entertainment come about?

Answer: Well I used to sing in the clubs and pubs around Oldham at the weekends and Tommy used to come watch me...and it all started for there really 

2 Who were your early influences?

Answer:I used to love guys like Max Wall and Tommy Cooper...Tommy always loved Double acts 

3 How did you both start of in comedy working together, did you both have your own styles or did you have to work at it?
Answer:  We started as singers and then we realised that the comics got £3 more so we turned to comics and when we did we just did cross patter and the rest ivolved if you like 
 
4 when you are out and about away from the TV show in the 80's and live shows now do you find fans who saw you in your off time expect you to be just as you are when working and wanting you to say the catch phrases?
Answer:   hahahah yeah and they still do.they think i walk around in hush puppies and braces 

5 You acted in the film "The Boys in Blue" how did that come about?
Answer:   Well it was in the 80's and Rank said they wanted to make a film so we said yeah.........its as simple as that really...We didnt make another one...what does that tell you lol 

6 Where did the saying "Rock on Tommy" come from?
Answer:   It came from the song of David Essex 'Rock on'...Tommy was singing on stage and i kept saying Rock On Tommy and before i knew what was happening everyone was saying it lol...It used to drive yvonne my wife mad because out on the street they used to say it to me and Yvonne would say 'You're called Bobby' lol  

7 You have worked on different types of TV shows over the years including game shows, do you have a favorite type of show you liked the most.
Answer:      I have and still do love the live show because its an interaction between the audience and us 

8 When you started working together did you both decide who would play the straight man or was it natural for you both to play it the way you do?
Answer:   It Just happened....It felt natural 

9 What was it like to be part of the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! show?
Answer:   It was the best thing I have done it my life.........It was great 

10 I see you have also built a dream in the Casey-Lee Jolleys Academy of Dance & Drama
Answer:   Well I started it with Casey but i found i didnt have time to be there enough so i handed the reins over to her and she is doing a wonderful job...but sadly i dont have much to with it anymore 

 
11 I saw you and Tommy on "Last of the Summer Wine" do you plan to do more acting in the future on this and other TV and stage shows?
Answer:     Yeah we are doing a little more acting together and seperate.... 

12 What is next for you to work on solo or with Tommy?
Answer:    Well we start a tour shortly and i have just finished and episode of 'not going out' with Lee Mack so there are lots of stuff in the pipe line 

13 Is there anything you would like to say to your on going fans?
